FAS 76th ANNUAL MEETING

This year’s conference will be held at the University of West Florida’s Downtown Campus in historic Pensacola. Participants can enjoy a free Friday reception at the fun and informative Museum of Commerce and Saturday night’s Awards Banquet at Apple Annie’s, in the Seville Quarter entertainment complex, which includes historic structures and architectural features from across the Gulf coast. Saturday will feature dozens of paper presentations and poster displays. THIS YEAR'S KEYNOTE SPEAKER is Dr. Judy Bense, President Emerita and Professor of Anthropology at the University of West Florida, who will talk about "THE TWO FLORIDAS".  Sunday morning tours include a WALKING TOUR - Historic St. Michael’s Cemetery and a KAYAK TOUR - Archaeology of Pensacola Bay.
