Volunteer Day with Civil War Trust’s Park Day

PARK DAY 2018
Fort Clinch State Park
Saturday, April 14, 2018 10:00 a.m.

Since 1996, the Civil War Trust has sponsored Park Day, an annual hands-on preservation event to help Civil War, Revolutionary War and War of 1812 battlefields and historic sites. This annual event brings history enthusiasts together in an effort to help keep our nation’s heritage not only preserved, but pristine by taking on maintenance projects large and small. Activities are chosen by each participating site to meet their own particular needs and can range from raking leaves and hauling trash to painting signs and trail buildings. In Florida, Park Day is set to help Fort Clinch State Park in Fernandina Beach on the Atlantic Coast near the Georgia State Line on April 14, 2018. Registration is required. Share your photos and experiences on social media with #ParkDay2018 to highlight the battlefield preservation community. Learn more at https://www.civilwar.org/events/park-day
